After finding my intercooler couplers were starting to come apart, I decided some replacements were in order:
Surprisingly, it was cheaper to buy the pipes and the couplers than to buy couplers themselves. So now the truck has purdy blue piping, new couplers, and ALL THE BOOST!

That always annoys me when it’s cheaper to order a whole kit than just the couple parts you need.

I need to replace a part on a tool that has stripped threads. A grade 8 bolt and nut that would work is $18+shipping. Buying a whole new kit with three sizes would run me $23 shipped.

It annoys me as well. It was $200+ for the couplers/clamps, or for $100 I could get new pipes/couplers/clamps. How in the hell is it cheaper to get the whole kit than just the couplers!?!??!
